Introduction Toggle switch Industry terminology and functions
1. Contact form
Electrical input and output circuits composed of contacts according to various uses.
2. Rated value
Generally refers to the value used as a reference standard to guarantee switch characteristics and performance, such as rated current, rated voltage, etc., under specific conditions.
3. Resin fixation
After wiring the terminals with wires, this method fixes the part by filling resin to eliminate exposed live parts and improve drip resistance.
4. Insulation resistance
Refers to the resistance value between non-connected terminals, between each terminal and non-live metal parts, and between each terminal and ground.
5. Withstand voltage
The critical value at which insulation damage does not occur after applying high voltage for 1 minute at specified test points.
6. Contact resistance
Indicates the resistance at the contact part of the contact point, but generally represents the resistance value including the conductor resistance of the spring and terminal parts.
7. Vibration resistance
The range of vibration in which the contact closed by vibration in a toggle switch during use does not separate within the specified time.
8. Shock resistance
Durability shock refers to the range of shocks during transportation or installation that do not cause damage to various parts of the micro switch and meet the range of operating characteristics. Malfunction shock refers to the range of shocks during use where the contact closed by impact does not separate within the specified time.
