In Europe, the CE certification mark on products indicates that the product complies with all relevant health, safety, and environmental protection requirements of the CE directives. All products produced or sold in European shopping centers must bear the CE certification mark. Because certification standards apply not only to the system itself but also to its accessories, for example, switches play a series of important roles throughout the entire category of safety products. For instance, regardless of the application environment of the detector, every smoke alarm must be equipped with a detection/reset switch. Network devices in smart buildings usually use DIP switches to set the addresses of devices throughout the network. There are also many safety products, such as control panels, outdoor lighting and alarms, motion sensors, and door/window sensors, used for tamper protection and maintenance.
