In such a rapidly changing shopping center, especially in areas closely related to people's lives, laws, regulations, and industry standards are very important because they ensure that these products function correctly according to people's requirements. In Europe, the CE certification mark on products indicates that the product complies with all relevant health, safety, and environmental protection requirements of the CE directives. All products produced or sold in European shopping centers must bear the CE certification mark. The process of obtaining the CE certification mark is very complex and requires various rigorous planning validations and tests; therefore, safety system companies need to carefully select suitable accessories and supplier partners when planning their products, which is crucial for their products to successfully pass CE certification in the future.

Because certification standards apply not only to the system itself but also to its accessories, for example, switches play a series of important roles throughout the entire category of safety products. For instance, regardless of the application environment of the detector, every smoke alarm must be equipped with a detection/reset switch. Network devices in smart buildings usually use DIP switches to set the addresses of devices throughout the network. There are also many safety products, such as control panels, outdoor lighting and alarms, motion sensors, and door/window sensors, used for tamper protection and maintenance.
Due to the mechanical structure of the equipment or environmental requirements, the application requirements of these switches vary, but they are all micro switches, tactile switches, and micro detection switches.

These switches need to operate under various harsh conditions. Some countries, including all of Europe, have laws and regulations requiring switches to function properly in corrosive gases such as sulfur dioxide. International standards for alarm and security systems, including electronic access control, alarm transmission, video surveillance, fire detection, and fire alarm systems, are referred to by ICE as TC79. The TC79 standard also covers communication between these different devices, and Internet of Things (IoT) devices are also included in the TC79 standard.
